My grade 5 reflection

My Year in Grade 5 was exciting and challenging. I worked hard to write paragraphs. In writing at the beginning of the year I didn't enjoy writing  as much. and now  writing is one of my favorite subjects. In writing I enjoyed the fantasy unit. I thought  i would never get as far as i got in that unit. 


In Reading I enjoyed reading in book clubs i thought it was a good way to talk about our book because  everyone had a chance to talk.

This was my favorite year doing Eureka Math. I thought math was interesting and fun. because it was different to last year's math. I enjoyed multiplying fractions because i was good at it. And I know I need more practice on the math unit of degrees. n Grade 5 I think the most challenging thing we did  of all was the place value and multiplication unit because it was hard for me.

I thought  social studies was challenging at first and boring but then it became more interesting
I learned about  the Colombian exchange.I know I am really good at writing paragraphs.
 .I thought Science was boring but not i think it's fun Enjoyed building the dog house for the worldwide problems project  we built a doghouse because dogs don't have shelter and we built it out of the things there dying from plastic and cardboard.

CORE Values. This was my  favorite year learning about the year the Core Values. I think they are important in cac 
The most important Core Value to me is because courage because it  encourages me to try my best.

In Grade 5 I think the most enjoyable thing we did of all was to build the house project because i enjoyed building it together.This year I am most proud of my math improvement through out the year.  because i practiced harder than last year and payed more attention.When I think about Middle School I feel excited know I must be responsible I 'm most looking forward to have different clasesI i think one challenge might be to get to classes on time since i do not know were they are.But I will try my best to achieve my goal.

• What was your favorite book genre and why?

My favorite book genre was non fiction because i like learning facts about things.

• What was the best math unit and why?

My favorite math unit was fractions because i like multiplying  fractions.

• Which subject do you think you could have done better in and why?

i think i could have done better in math because i know i didn't try my best in math and i could do better.

• The work i am most proudest of is the second last math test.
• My best piece of writing i  think is  the fantasy writing.
